Snoop Dogg has negotiated a broad cooperation arrangement with Petco and made many goods available through the pet-supplies company ahead of the expected summer launch of Snoop Cereal.
Snoop Dogg and Petco (NASDAQ: WOOF) announced their multifaceted partnership today in an official release as well as quick ad spots. According to the parties involved, the Droga5-created campaign will expand to broadcast, digital, and social media, as well with “behind-the-scenes footage of Snoop and pets.”
A Snoop Dogg-curated “Petco Picks” list of recommended cat and dog products is also included in the all-encompassing collaboration. Among the latter are “Meowijuana Catnip,” a pizza-shaped “Doggijuana” reward toy, and, most notably, the Snoop Doggie Doggs line from the Gamma-partnered act.
Snoop Doggie Doggs goods are already available for purchase online and will be available at Petco’s stateside brick-and-mortar locations in August – the firm owns around 1,500 stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, according to its website.

Fans of Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It is Hot” may now get a Snoop Dogg-branded collar ($19.99), a cat and dog sweater with a chain accessory ($39.99), and even a “deluxe gold pet bowl” ($64.99). A Snoop Dogg-themed “deluxe pet jersey” and a “pink boss lady” version are also featured in the collection (both $29.99).
In a statement, WME-signed Snoop Dogg praised Petco’s “great experts and great deals,” which are offering a $10 discount on orders $50 and up for consumers who use the “SNOOP” promo code.
“When it comes to shopping for my pets, I buy things for them that I would buy for myself.” “My pets have to look good, feel good, and smell good,” said the Death Row Cannabis owner. “However, it is difficult to know how to keep our pets healthy and happy when they can not tell us what they require.”

In solidarity with the WGA strike, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre (who cashed in on his catalog earlier this year) rescheduled a pair of Doggystyle 30th anniversary gigs last week; in May, the 51-year-old called on artists to boycott music streaming services.
