Elliot Page has said that while filming Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor set him up on a date and invited him and his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, to join them.

Page, 36, published his autobiography, Pageboy: A Memoir, earlier this week.

The Umbrella Academy actor delivered a couple bombshells over its 288 pages, which have already made news.

According to reports, Page was having a secret relationship with Juno co-star Olivia Thirlby and having sex with her ‘all the time’ while filming in 2007.

“It was on… we started having sex all the time: her hotel room, our trailers at work, and once in a tiny, private room in a restaurant,” he wrote.

In the memoir, the actor also mentioned making a ‘beautiful connection’ with one of DiCaprio’s buddies while filming on Christopher Nolan’s Inception.

Page refers to the man he met as ‘Peter’ in the book, but it is unclear whether this is his genuine name or an alias.

According to reports, the mutual friend paid a visit to the set of Nolan’s 2010 film and the two became acquainted.

The actress characterized him as “warm to everyone” with “caring eyes.”

“When I saw Leo next, I told him I liked his friend, to which he responded that his friend likes me, too,” Page writes.

“We went to Universal Studios with Leo and his mother for our first date.” On the rides, Peter and I sat next to one other, our thighs hardly touching.”

Page said that his connection with Peter lasted about “a month, maybe two,” and that it reminded him of “high school” flings.

Page’s mother, Martha Philpotts, is said to have been ‘over the moon’ when she learned her son was in a relationship with a guy.

In addition, on the subject of Inception, Page remarked that he felt incredibly out of place while filming.

“Shingles popped out of my spine while filming Inception when I was 22,” according to an excerpt from the autobiography.

“I didn’t understand my role in a cast full of straight men.” Despite the fact that everyone was pleasant to work with, I felt out of place.

“I joked for the first two weeks of the film that I would be recast with Keira Knightly, and I was right.” Shingles conveyed the stress in my body that words could not.”

Page’s moving memoir, Pageboy, is now available.
