Jake Paul Will Appear In A Combat Sports Drama

Jake Paul’s feature film debut will be in a combat sports drama.

The 26-year-old actor is collaborating with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on the film, in which he will play a small-town kid who achieves global recognition through combat sports.

The plot parallels Jake’s real life, in which he utilized his status as a social media figure to break into professional boxing and co-founded the promotion organization Most Valuable Promotions.

The picture, according to Paul, is “just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career.”

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on my first feature film project,” the controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer stated.

“Both companies have a track record of creating high-quality content that resonates with audiences, and I couldn’t be more excited to be working with such talented and experienced teams.”

“As someone who has always believed in pushing the boundaries and taking risks, I can’t wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen.”

Mandalay’s David Zelon and Wonder Street’s Craig Baumgarten will produce the film, with Paul serving as an executive producer.

Paul has accumulated more than 70 million followers across digital platforms and also had a role in the Disney Channel sitcom ‘Bizaardvark’.

He started boxing in 2018 and has won six of his seven matches so far, however he did lose to arch rival Tommy Fury earlier this year.
