Amber Heard is quite happy in Spain.

The Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom actress, 37, moved to Madrid, Spain, months after her Virginia defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp concluded on June 1, 2022, with a judgement.

Heard responds to queries from local reporters on the sidewalk in a small video circulating on TikTok, saying in Spanish, “I love Spain so much.” When they inquired if she intended to stay, she said, “Yes, I hope so.” “Yes, I enjoy living here.”

“I hope you are well, ciao,” Heard added as she waved goodbye to the individuals filming her. And thank you; it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

When asked if she has any film projects in the works, she answered that she does, adding, “I move on.” That’s just life.”

A source earlier stated that Heard “couldn’t wait to leave the United States with her daughter” following the trial. Heard, the mother of 2-year-old Oonagh Paige, “has been living in Spain, where she gets more privacy,” according to the source.

On May 3, 2022, US actress Amber Heard enters the Fairfax County Circuit Court in Fairfax, Virginia. – In Fairfax County Circuit Court, US actor Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife Amber Heard for libel after she penned an op-ed piece in The Washington Post in 2018 referring to herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

“The trial was beyond stressful for her, and she just wanted to start fresh outside of the country,” the insider stated. “She is looking forward to working and filming again.” She was fatigued and dissatisfied with the outcome of the trial. She believed she had been abused. But this is all behind her now.”

“She has new energy and is focused on things she enjoys,” stated the person.

Heard disclosed in December that she and Depp had reached an agreement and discontinued their appeals against the Virginia decision.

“It’s important for me to say that I never chose this,” she said in a statement that month. My life as I knew it was ruined because I defended my truth. The vilification I’ve received on social media is an exaggerated version of how women are re-victimized when they speak up.”

“Now I finally have an opportunity to emancipate myself from something I attempted to leave over six years ago, and on terms I can agree to,” Heard continued. “I have not admitted anything. This is not a sign of weakness. Moving forward, there are no constraints or gags on my voice.”

Depp, 59, was welcomed earlier this month as his French-language feature Jeanne Du Barry opened the Cannes feature Festival, signing autographs before strolling the red carpet. He later became upset after the picture received a standing ovation following its viewing.

During a press conference at the festival in France, Depp was asked about his comeback to the film industry after the highly publicized trial and whether he feels “boycotted by Hollywood.”

“Do I now feel boycotted?” No way, no how. But, because I don’t think about it, I don’t feel shunned by Hollywood. I’m not thinking about Hollywood. “I don’t have much more need for Hollywood,” he stated.

“I keep wondering about the word comeback because I didn’t go anywhere,” Depp added. In fact, I live approximately 45 minutes away. So, yeah, maybe people stopped screaming about whatever they were afraid of at the time. But I didn’t go anywhere. I’ve been sitting here.”
