According to TMZ, the power couple has officially purchased the most expensive mansion ever sold in California, breaking the previous record of USD $177 million (AUD $265 million).

According to the outlet, they were able to pay the enormous amount in cash, which is simply mind-boggling.

It is also the country’s second most expensive residence, with the most expensive price being a USD $238 million (AUD $357m) New York City apartment.

According to Forbes, Jay and Bey received a deal on the opulent Malibu mansion, which was previously privately marketed for USD $295 million (AUD $442 million).

Tadao Ando, a well-known Japanese architect, created the house with a ‘haiku’ effect, emphasizing the ‘beauty of simplicity.’

He frequently likes intricate spatial designs that emphasize their simplicity and aggressiveness.

And this was no little undertaking.

Their 30,000-square-foot estate took five years to complete.

It has a large lawn with enough of area for Blue, Rumi, and Sir to run around on and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

According to Forbes, the house “has a private beach, an infinity pool that appears to stretch off into the ocean, and Zen water features.”

Kurt Rappaport, who represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction, was contacted for comment.

The pair also owns a home in TriBeCa and a USD $88 million (AUD $132 million) mansion in the gated town of Bel Air.

According to Vanity Fair, they may still own their fire-damaged property in New Orleans, which was advertised for sale but then removed from the market in 2021.

Beyoncé is now in the United Kingdom as part of her Renaissance world tour before continuing on to Paris, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland.

Jay and his oldest child Blue were spotted in the VIP section of the event in Sweden earlier this month.

According to Teen Vogue, Blue wore long braids, hoops, and an oversized t-shirt, while Jay-Z kept things casual in an all-black suit, hat, and sunglasses.
