Lil Wayne perplexed concertgoers after cutting his act short due to a lack of enthusiasm from the audience.

On Saturday (13.05.23), the ‘Lollipop’ rapper was playing the final night of his ‘Welcome To Tha Carter Tour’ at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles when he abruptly ended his set after being joined by his Young Money Records signees Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas.

“We appreciate it, but we’re not going to bend over backwards for these people,” he told the audience. We put in too many hours for this s***. We put in much too many hours.”

“This is my muthaf*‘ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj; we are Young Money,” Wayne continued. We appreciate you taking the time.”

on the surprise of the audience, he then dropped his microphone on the ground and exited the platform.

Fans waited to see if it was a joke and even yelled his nickname “Weezy” in an attempt to entice him back onstage.

The crowd, however, dispersed and exited the stadium after around 10 minutes.

Wayne claimed to be the “best rapper alive” onstage.

“I’m the realest motherf* in the game right now,” he remarked.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t give a f*** what you think you’re looking at, but you are looking at the best rapper alive.”

Jay-Z, André 3000, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Snoop Dogg, and Nicki Minaj were among the 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time in a recent Billboard feature.
