Young Thug and his legal team have been challenging a Ring doorbell video recording that is believed to contain Young Thug’s voice, in addition to coping with health issues this past week.
The residence of the thug was shot up and struck at least ten times, leaving over a dozen shell casings behind. An investigation revealed that the Ring doorbell was used to communicate with someone, while an officer’s body camera captured the recording audio. Unidentified officer claimed that the voice on the camera belonged to Young Thug.

Brian Steel, the attorney for Thug, is attempting to prohibit the record. Steel states that if the prosecution intends to use the doorbell recording as evidence, there must be conclusive proof of voice identification. Otherwise, the recording should not be permitted for use in the trial.
