A rumor that Chrissy Teigen employed a surrogate to deliver her child Esti has been refuted.

The Chrissy’s Court actress addressed the rumors that she utilized a surrogate to deliver her daughter Esti in a remark she left on Instagram.

Chrissy was asked if she had Esti through a surrogate after sharing a photo of the three-month-old on Monday. One user said that Chrissy had used a prosthetic bump “called a moonbump” to appear pregnant.

Later, Chrissy highlighted the rumor on her Instagram Story.

After joking that she was “obsessed with this comment,” she put any doubt to rest by providing a photo taken from her hospital bed just after giving birth to Esti by C-section. Extremely accurate “moon bump,” she joked in the caption.

John Legend and Chrissy welcomed their first child, Esti, in January. They also have two other children, Luna, 7, and Miles, 4, together.

20 weeks into Chrissy and John’s pregnancy, their son Jack passed away in September 2020.

When the music video for John’s song Stereo was being shot in 2006, Chrissy happened to be there. They got hitched in September 2013 after becoming engaged in December 2011.
