In a recent episode of the CBS drama Fire Country, Kane Brown made his acting debut as Robin, a mysterious train hopper who aids injured patients.

The current entertainer of the year nominee for the ACM Awards says he loved the experience so much that he is planning to focus more on acting this year, even if that means taking some time away from his main job of writing successful songs.

According to Brown, who was recently interviewed by Entertainment Tonight at the Stagecoach Festival, where he performed on April 29, “We’re taking a couple of months off coming up.” “I’m unsure of my next steps. But you know, I’ll try to pursue whatever is available. I’m just going to take some time to research acting.

According to a source, he is actively working on a new album while taking time off to pursue acting opportunities, thus he is not taking a break from music during that time. September marks the end of his tour.

Additionally, he provided an update on his marriage to Katelyn Brown, his duet partner on their current No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hit, “Thank God, and their children. We recently purchased a home in Florida, so we’re going there. For the first time, the girls visited the beach and had a great time. We will thus travel there, socialize with them, and create some lasting experiences.

Onstage at Stagecoach, Brown’s wife Katelyn joined him for their No. 1 Country Airplay duet, “Thank God.”

She has my utmost respect, Brown told ET. I feel like my family has kept us grounded, you know. And, you know, we’re even more grounded now that she performs at [his shows]. It’s wonderful, then.

Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton served as the festival’s additional headliners in 2023.
