Nia Long Posts Mysterious Message About' Revenge' Following Ime Udoka Scandal

After her ex-fiance, Ime Udoka, had an affair while they were engaged, Nia Long is still acting honorably.

“The best retaliation is none at all. On Saturday, the “Best Man” actress posted a remark to Instagram. It said, “Be happy.

In the comments area of her post, several celebrities showered 52-year-old Long with praise.

Sure, sis! Holly Robinson Peete, a former “Talk” anchor, argued that revenge “continues the toxicity.”

“Amen. Better bitter,” added Tanya Sam, a former cast member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

While “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton wrote “Queenin,” singer Keyshia Cole commented, “Facts.”

After being fired from the Boston Celtics last year for violating the team’s code of conduct by engaging in an intimate and consensual relationship with a female employee, Udoka, 45, was named the head coach of the Houston Rockets a few days prior to Long’s appointment.

In a statement at the time, Udoka expressed regret to his family and team for “letting them down.”

“I apologize for placing the team in this challenging situation, and I respect the choice made by the team. I won’t have any more comments out of respect for everyone involved,” he declared in September.

After more than 12 years of dating, Long and Udoka called it quits, a rep revealed to People in December.

Nia is concentrating on her children and reconstructing her life, despite the sad and painful circumstances, a source informed the site.

The “Fatal Affair” actress also recounted how “devastated” their son Kez, 11, was upon the revelation of his father’s extramarital affair.

At the time, she told the Hollywood Reporter, “He still has times when it’s not easy for him.

“I think my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public was the most heartbreaking thing about all of this,” I said.

Long and Udoka started dating in 2010, and in 2015, they became engaged.

The “You People” actress also shares parenting duties with actor Massai Dorsey’s 22-year-old son Massai.
