Even though Pete Davidson’s romance with Kim Kardashian, whom he memorably kissed during a “Saturday Night Live” parody, sounds like the ideal material for the popular comedy program, we hear he’s decided not to poke fun at the reality star when he hosts the show for the first time in two weeks.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Davidson wants to avoid Kardashian even though he is anticipated to be “a good sport” about jokes about his publicized personal life.

He’s acting like a gentleman, the source claims.

After nine months of dating, the couple, who originally became romantically involved in October 2021, reportedly split in August 2022 and decided to just “drop everything” and “move on.”

The source explains, “That’s why she’s not mentioned in his stand-up.”

After her ex-husband Kanye West constantly insulted the “King of Staten Island” actor on social media and even released a music video for his song “Eazy” in which he kidnaps and burys a cartoon version of Davidson, their relationship turned out to be exceedingly unfunny.

Additionally, West posted a bogus New York Times front page with the headline “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28” and rapped about “beating Pete Davidson’s ass.” (Davidson was dubbed “Skete” by disgraced rapper).

The insider continued, “[He’s respecting the fact] that her team is so protective of her image and it was so volatile from Kanye’s side.” The comedian has ambitions for a show.

According to reports, Davidson, who has been vocal about his mental health concerns, sought “trauma therapy” after West’s attacks. A source told People, “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.”

Davidson, who dated Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, and Phoebe Dynevor, also talked about how “SNL” made fun of his love life while he was working on the program on John Bernthal’s “Real Ones” podcast.

When your own program makes fun of you, you have to perform a skit right away and strike the target or the show will continue to make fun of you. The “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies” star stated, “And you’re like, ‘I’m a fucking loser, man.

Davidson continued, “I felt supported by the cast, and no one ever shown me more grace and leniency than [‘SNL’ creator] Lorne Michaels, who I owe my life to. But it was fucking perplexing because the nature of entertainment is the nature of this business. After all, that is what it ultimately is. This task was quite challenging. You feel modest. You are quite insecure.

However, a another insider claimed that they wouldn’t be shocked if one or two Kardashians jokes made it into the performance.

Nothing has been written as of yet, but knowing Pete, nothing is off the table.

Davidson, who appeared on the show as a cast member from 2014 to 2022, is reportedly “nervous” about hosting on May 6.

Even though it was his home for years, the source claims that he is still anxious. It is tasty.

In an episode of the show in October 2021 with a “Aladdin” theme, Davidson and Kardashian shared a kiss. Soon after, they began dating, and Davidson inked Jasmine and Aladdin on his body.

Davidson will make an appearance on the program shortly after attending the Met Gala, which we understand he will do alone. Currently, he is seeing Chase Sui Wonders.

Michaels, who executive produces Davidson’s new Peacock comedy “Bupkis,” is touring to promote it.

Several guest stars, including Charlie Day, Al Gore, Bobby Cannavale, John Mulaney, La La Anthony, and Davidson’s best friend Machine Gun Kelly, are said to appear on the episode.
