Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital about a week after he “experienced a medical complication” that caused him to have to cease filming “Back in Action.”

A source told People on Monday that the actor is still in an Atlanta hospital having tests as doctors try to determine what caused the problem.

Another insider had informed CNN three days earlier that the “Django Unchained” star, 55, was being watched by medical staff who were “still trying to figure out what exactly happened.”

The source informed the publication that “they are conducting tests.”

His health issue was highlighted by the Oscar winner’s daughter Corinne in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old captioned a letter from “the Foxx family,” saying, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.”

Fortunately, thanks to prompt action and excellent treatment, he is already on the road to recovery, the statement concluded.

One day before the medical problem, Foxx was on location for his next film “Back in Action,” which stars Cameron Diaz.

Foxx’s predicament apparently caused production to “shut down” on Wednesday; nevertheless, the following day, as filming resumed without him, his stunt double was spotted on location.

However, a source informed People over the weekend that Foxx is “steadily improving.” Foxx’s family has not yet provided an update on his status or provided information on what occurred.

LeBron James and Viola Davis, two of his famous friends, have posted their good wishes on social media.

Foxx’s health issues have surfaced a few weeks after he allegedly had a breakdown and then returned to the “Back in Action” set.The incident is claimed to have driven 50-year-old Diaz to stop performing once more and to fire the executive producer, two directors, and his driver from the movie.
