In order to celebrate its first season as the home of NFL Sunday Ticket, YouTube TV is offering some special discounts months in advance of the regular season.

In December, Google, which operates the live streaming service YouTube TV, triumphed against Amazon and ESPN to secure the rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket. According to The Wall Street Journal, Google reportedly pays $2 billion yearly for the NFL Sunday Ticket under the 7-year agreement.

The 1994-launched television package, which has historically been carried by satellite provider DirecTV, has provided fans with a chance to view regular season NFL games outside of their local markets.

NFL Sunday Ticket will be an add-on for YouTube TV members, and it will be less expensive to do so (the base package costs $72.99 per month). YouTube TV made the announcement on Tuesday.

NFL Sunday Ticket is available to YouTube TV members for a season-long presale price of $249, saving them $100 off the $349 regular price. DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket had a $300 price tag, yet some subscribers received it for nothing.

Customers can access YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket on the web, their TV, as well as on mobile devices such tablets and smartphones.

If you don’t have a YouTube TV subscription, can you still obtain NFL Sunday Ticket?

In comparison to DirecTV, YouTube TV is adopting a different approach for viewers who do not subscribe to its TV service. Although DirecTV required a subscription to use its service, there were several exceptions, such as for college students, those without TVs, people who couldn’t install satellite dishes, and people whose homes couldn’t receive the signal.

NFL Sunday Ticket will be available to non-YouTube TV subscribers through YouTube TV. They will simply pay extra for it. a $349 presale ticket, which is $100 less than the season’s retail price of $449. Visit the YouTube PrimeTime Channels page to subscribe to several premium channels (Showtime, NBA League Pass, Paramount+) and get the presale price.

NFL Sunday Ticket with RedZone channel from YouTube TV

The popular NFL RedZone channel and NFL Sunday Ticket will be included in a YouTube TV plan that costs $289 for the season instead of $389, saving $100.

Without a YouTube TV subscription, customers may purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket-NFL RedZone bundle for $389 during the presale, saving $100 off the season’s regular retail price of $489. (All price reductions expire on June 6.)

The cost of YouTube TV has recently increased from $64.99 to $72.99 per month; the price rise takes effect on April 18 for current subscribers. Recently, the service started testing a multiview function that allows users to watch up to four pre-selected games at once.

Christian Oestlien, vice president of product management for YouTube TV and connected TV, said in a statement: “On YouTube TV, members will have access to features like the brand-new multiview as well as unlimited DVR storage, personalized recommendations, the ability to view key plays, NFL fantasy data, real-time stats, and hide spoilers.”
