With his game program That’s My Jam and The Tonight program in the first three months of the year, Fallon has been doing exceptionally well in both primetime and late-night.

From January 23 to March 13, The Tonight Show held the top spot among viewers in the ad-friendly 18-49 age group for eight straight weeks.

Michael B. Jordan appeared in the show from January 26 that received the highest rating of the quarter (0.26).

That’s My Jam, Fallon’s variety game program, is also having a successful second season. The season has continued to trend 15% higher in average total viewers than Season 1 after a solid start with the March 7 premiere.

The popular Tonight program games serve as the basis for the hour-long music and comedy variety program That’s My Jam. In each episode, two teams of two celebrities compete in a series of music, dance, and trivia-based activities and musical performances in support of the charity of their choosing.

The first four shows are currently averaging 3.5M viewers in Live+3 viewing and a 0.6 demo rating. The show’s highest demo rating since the start of the series in November 2021 was achieved on the episode from March 28 with a 0.57 rating.

In comparison to the network’s previous hour in Q1 2023, the program reportedly increased NBC’s Tuesday 10–11 p.m. time slot by 64% in the demo and by 30% in total viewers.

Additionally, both programs are doing well on social media. More than 1.7 billion views and 163 million interactions have been recorded for The Tonight Show since January 1 on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter combined. The series is the late-night show that receives the most views on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

The season of That’s My Jam has received 153 million views and 11.5 million interactions on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. According to NBCU, this season’s episodes have seen increases in both average views and average interactions of almost 70% and 88%, respectively.

That’s My Jam will switch to Mondays at 10 p.m. starting on April 17. Simu Liu and Halle Bailey vs. Chloe Bailey and Adam Lambert will be the featured matchup in the first broadcast of the show’s new time slot.
