On social media, a video of Drake dancing to Avril Lavigne while DJing at a recent club performance has gone viral.
This week, the rapper visited Miami and was spotted at bars nearby. Following a contentious sighting of the OVO creator with 50 Cent the evening before he was scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil, fans theorized that their meeting was the reason he postponed his headline performance that day.
In a popular TikTok video with over 136,000 views, a Canadian rapper is seen operating a club’s DJ booth and selecting to play Lavigne’s 2002 hit song “Complicated.”
One of Lavigne’s biggest songs is “Complicated.” Her debut album’s lead single, “Let Go,” reached No. 5 in more than 20 nations and sold 1.1 million copies in the US.

Twenty years after its debut, the song is still cherished; Avril Lavigne recently performed it with up-and-coming pop star Olivia Rodrigo.
At the 2023 Juno Awards, a topless protester was confronted by the pop-punk star, who told them to “get the fuck” off the platform.
In other developments, Drake is still facing criticism in South America because he shortened his headline set for Rolling Loud Argentina. In addition, the performance’s live broadcast was canceled just before it was scheduled to begin.
In the meantime, Ticketmaster received notice of a class action lawsuit this month regarding reportedly overpriced tickets for his upcoming tour.
