Honey Boo Boo Reveals Cancer Diagnosis For Sister Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell

According to reports, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, the oldest sibling, has been identified as having stage 4 cancer, according to Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

“And by that, I mean that it’s impossible to fully understand what someone is going through at home. regardless of how well-known they may be,” the 17-year-old ex-“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” actress posted on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

“Yes, I’m famous, but my family and I experience normal life’s ups and downs, and y’all need to understand that asap.”

Thompson’s tweet was published a few hours after TMZ first reported Cardwell’s diagnosis.

The 28-year-old underwent several tests for stomach discomfort and discovered she had adrenal carcinoma in January. Later, her liver, kidney, and lung were all discovered to have cancer.

According to the source, Cardwell recently underwent her first round of chemotherapy; the next course of action will rely on how she responds.
