Disney-Pixar is teasing the upcoming movie Elemental.
Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie are featured in the animated film’s trailer, which was made available by the companies on Tuesday.
The inhabitants of Element City, a bustling city where elemental beings coexist but “do not mix,” are introduced in the preview. In defiance of expectations, the water element Wade Ripple (Athie) and the fire element Ember Lumen (Lewis) develop a connection and fall in love.
There are also voice parts for Joe Pera, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Catherine O’Hara, Mason Wertheimer, and Ronnie del Carmen.
Character posters for the movie by Disney-Pixar have been released, showing Ember, Wade, Clod (Wertheimer), and Gale. (McLendon-Covey).
Peter Sohn is the director of Elemental, which was penned by John Hoberg, Kat Likkel, and Brenda Hsueh. On June 16, the movie debuts in cinemas.
Athie appeared in the Netflix series Archive 81, while Lewis played Georgia “George” Fan on the CW’s Nancy Drew.
