The People's Choice Country Awards Will Broadcast On NBC And Peacock On September 28

Live broadcasts of the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards on NBC and Peacock are scheduled for September 28.

The Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville will be used to record the two-hour broadcast.

The event’s host, nominees, and artist lineup have not yet been revealed.

The start date of the online voting session is also unknown.

The networks said in a press release on Tuesday that the People’s Choice Country Awards, “the only award show for the people and by the people, will recognize the biggest and best country music has to offer chosen entirely by the fans across various categories.”

The awards event will also present a number of honorary awards.

Since 1975, the People’s Choice Awards gala has been hosted each year.
