A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys, a music special, will broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ on April 9.

The Recording Academy’s 2001 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients will be honored on the two-hour show, which was filmed in Los Angeles and will highlight their professional lives.

On the program, Beach Boys members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, and Bruce Johnston will make appearances. Other artists performing Beach Boys songs include Beck, Brandi Carlile, John Legend, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Hanson, Norah Jones, and Mumford & Sons.

The show is also anticipated to feature appearances from Drew Carey, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Jam, Elton John, Harvey Mason Jr., Bruce Springsteen, and John Stamos.

The tribute will broadcast on MTV at a later time for an hour.

The band, which was established in 1961, is well-known for songs like “Good Vibrations,” “California Girls,” “Surfin’ USA,” “Sloop John B,” “God Only Knows,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” and “I Get Around.”

In 1988, The Beach Boys were admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
