After a recording of Young M.A appearing ill went viral, she spoke out about her health. The Brooklyn-based rapper shared on Instagram on March 15 that she is recovering and would go into more depth with new music and a documentary.

She wrote on Instagram, “As many of my supporters know, I’ve been dealing with different personal health issues the last few years. “I was recently admitted and received effective treatment for a number of ailments. Though it will take some time, I am now doing better and am optimistic about the future.

“I’m in good spirits, and the music will clarify everything! also a documentary. I adore you, MAB! Be at ease—I’m fine! bless you.

The video of her with yellow eyes went viral on social media on Tuesday, and that’s when the message appeared. (March 14). Milagro Gramz, a Twitter user, posted the video of the artist getting an edge at a barbershop.

As Wild’ N Out star and celebrity barber Aaron “Fatsdabarber” Turk showed her hair before and after, viewers noted that the whites of her eyes didn’t look as healthy as they should have. Young M.A. addresses the viral video that raised health concerns for her.

Some fans criticized Fats for posting a video of Young M.A and appearing to disregard her health, while others surmised that the emcee may have developed jaundice. Turk addressed the criticism and clarified his motivations for sharing the work clip.

Fatsdabarber wrote: “Y’all got so much to say as if I’m attempting to embarrass my dawg. “She would have informed me if she didn’t want me to record. You guys have no idea of our relationship or our connection, the barber typed. “What y’all need to do is just offer your prayers for her. She hasn’t had a haircut in a month and asked me to revive it, which I did. I appreciate you coming, [Young M.A], and continuing to dance with me as usual. I adore you.
