The new tune “Winner Takes All” by Alice Cooper’s touring guitarist Nita Strauss features Alice Cooper.

A follow-up to 2018’s “Controlled Chaos,” the axe-slayer’s second record, features her “boss and friend” singing on the “modern rock track,” which she calls “truly an honor.”

In a statement, Nita said: “When we were working on the music for this album, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to write a song in association with my famous longtime employer and friend, Alice Cooper. I believe the song achieves our goal of showcasing Alice’s vocal and distinctive style against a gritty, contemporary rock track. It was an honor to collaborate with him and have his voice on one of my songs after many years of performing Alice’s music on stage using my manner of playing.

Nita recently re-joined the traveling group for the “Poison” hitmaker.

From 2014 to 2022, the rocker, 36, was a member of the band, which also consists of Ryan Roxie, Tommy Henricksen, Chuck Garric, and Glen Sobel. However, he took a break to join Demi Lovato’s traveling band.

The ‘School’s Out’ rocker’s upcoming ‘Too Close For Comfort’ North American tour launches on April 28 in Michigan, and Alice and Nita will rejoin.

On the “Freaks On Parade” concert, Rob Zombie will be joined by Alice and company.

The singer, who is 75 years old, exclaimed, “She’s Back! Nita requested a leave of absence to collaborate with another party, something I always advise my bandmates to do. They should push themselves and attempt new things, in my opinion. She was replaced by my old buddy Kane Roberts, for which I am grateful; however, she will rejoin us for the upcoming tour, which begins in late April. Her return is going to be fantastic.

It’s always an enormous honor to create music with Alice Cooper, Nita continued, “from the studio to the stage! I’ll see you on the road in April because I’m very thrilled to be re-joining the band for the 2023 tour dates. Bring back the horror!

Alice’s Hollywood Vampires will visit the UK this summer, in the meantime.

The rock supergroup, which also includes Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry and Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, will perform across the UK and Europe in 2023 after having to postpone performances in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trio, who are joined by guitarist Tommy Henriksen, performs original tracks from their two albums as well as songs in remembrance of the “great lost heroes of music.”

The race begins on June 8 in Bucharest, Romania, and ends on July 22 in Slupsk, Poland.

On July 9, they perform at London’s O2 stadium.
