Thanks to a flashy necklace that Tyga, Avril Lavigne’s (rumored) boyfriend, allegedly bought for about $80,000, fans won’t have any trouble recalling Avril Lavigne’s name.
Last week, Avril posted pictures of herself sporting the chain on social media and was spotted wearing it in Los Angeles. Her name, the letter “A” over pink hearts, ribbon-adorned skulls and crossbones, and the letters MFP are all clearly displayed on the chain. The jewelry allegedly weighs 50 carats and is made up of pink sapphires, white diamonds, and black diamonds.
Eric Mavani, a famous jeweler from New York City’s Mavani & Co Jewelry, who created the item, verified its approximate value. On his Instagram, Mavani also posted a close-up image of the jewelry.
Following Lavigne’s broken engagement to Mod Sun, there have been rumors of a relationship between the two since last month. Both at Paris Fashion Week and in Los Angeles, the two have been seen out and about.
