After being discovered wandering the streets of Los Angeles in her underwear early on Sunday, Amanda Bynes was put on a mental hold.

The former “Amanda Show” star, who suffers from bipolar disorder, flagged down a car without wearing any clothes on her body and informed the driver she was recovering from a psychotic episode, an eyewitness claimed to TMZ on Monday.

After calling 911 on herself, Bynes, 36, was taken to a nearby police station where a mental health professional decided that she needed to be placed on a 5150 hold.

The troubled celebrity is allegedly still under care of a facility. A 5150 hold usually lasts 72 hours, but it may be prolonged if a patient requires it.

She postponed her Saturday plans to go to ’90s Con in Connecticut with her former “All That” co-stars due to an unspecified illness.

In spite of Bynes’ attorney’s delay in responding to Page Six’s request for comment, her ex-fiancé Paul Michael exclusively discloses to Page Six that the Nickelodeon star has been “off her meds.”

Nearly a year and a day to the day after Bynes was released from an eight-year conservatorship, she experienced a psychiatric crisis.

In a brief Instagram video she posted in advance of her court appearance, she spoke out to express her gratitude to her supporters for their “love and support”; however, the judge eventually ruled that the legal arrangement was “no longer required.”

Bynes’ parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, encouraged her pursuit of independence.

Rick was regarded as an interested person in the case, and Lynn acted as Amanda’s conservator.

Following the termination of the conservatorship, Amanda’s lawyer revealed that the former child star, who has also battled substance addiction, was “doing very well” and was eager to move in with Michael.

But just months after she openly accused him of watching “mom-and-son porn” and abusing crack cocaine, she and Michael called their engagement off in July 2022.

Later, Amanda explained that she had in fact seen Michael watching “MILF” porn, but she maintained that he had resumed using drugs despite having a clean test result.

The retired actress made the decision to enrol in cosmetology school after the split in order to become a manicurist.

She has since posted pictures of her unfinished manicures and of her classroom, which looked like a nail salon.

Amanda obtained her degree in June 2019 from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. She has also indicated interest in creating fragrances.
