The upcoming Paramount + series Vice City will be hosted by 50 Cent. According to Deadline, the show is a collaboration between Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television, Paramount Television Studios, and Lionsgate Television.
Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters, who will act as executive producers and directors, are the series’ creators and writers. Along with 87 Eleven, G-Unit, Alex Young, and Jason Spitz are executive producers.
Vice City will follow three friends who were once soldiers who were dishonorably discharged due to their participation in the Iran Contra scandal and returned to Miami in the middle of the 1980s.
The synopsis adds:
Disgraced, displaced, and forgotten by the country they served and with no good job prospects, the three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions to form a heist crew. Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream.
