Rihanna’s Apple Music Halftime Show on Sunday night set a new standard for halftime performances by setting off a new era with a massive, career-spanning performance. On Sunday, Rihanna’s Apple Music streams reached their pinnacle. It was Shazam’s biggest day ever, historically speaking.

Following her performance, Rihanna’s Apple Music concurrent listeners jumped by an astonishing 331% worldwide. She performed with substantially more concurrent listeners than she had during her performances the year before. Following her halftime performance, Rihanna had her most successful hour on Apple Music in terms of concurrent listeners and streaming.

Her discography also swiftly took over overseas charts. A record for the song was set when “Umbrella” topped the charts in 105 nations. Additionally, it is the song that her followers enjoy singing the most on Apple Music Sing. Furthermore, “We Found Love” topped the charts in a record-breaking 92 countries worldwide, and “Work” returned to the charts in more than 50 countries. Rihanna’s singles topped the charts on Sunday night in 149 different countries.

During the press conference for the Apple Music Halftime Show, Rihanna was asked what her all-time favorite album was, and she replied, “ANTI.” In more than 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico, ANTI peaked at number 10.

According to Shazam users, Rihanna had her busiest day ever thanks to the Halftime Show. “We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris)” from Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance garnered the most Shazams at 8:31 PM EST and has the most Shazams in the US since the Halftime Show of the previous year.
