Ben Affleck will introduce you to the world of AIR, a movie that chronicles the revolutionary collaboration between a young Michael Jordan and Nike’s basketball division.
With the Air Jordan Brand, the alliance would transform modern society and the sports world. This touching tale details a team’s career-defining gamble when everything was on the line, a mother’s steadfast vision when appreciating the value of her son’s extraordinary skill, and the basketball prodigy who would go on to become the greatest of all time.
In the movie AIR, Matt Damon plays the outspoken Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro, Ben Affleck plays Nike co-founder Phil Knight, and Viola Davis plays Michael Jordan’s mother Deloris, who was fiercely protective of her son and actively worked to secure his legacy.
Other cast members include Gustaf Skarsgrd as Horst Dassler, Julius Tennon as James Jordan, Marlon Wayans as George Raveling, Chris Tucker as Howard White, Matthew Maher as Peter Moore, and Jason Bateman as Rob Strasser, among others.
On April 5, 2023, AIR will be exclusively released in cinemas all around the world before becoming live on Prime Video in more than 240 nations and territories.
