Machine Gun Kelly handled his defeat at the 2023 Grammy Awards in a manner that Megan Fox said made her “very pleased.”

The Mainstream Sellout artist from Bloody Valentine, whose real name is Colson Baker, was nominated for Best Rock Album but fell short to Ozzy Osbourne’s Patient Number 9 at the award in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

In a touching Instagram post on Monday, Megan reflected on the occasion and praised her fiancé for acting with “grace and maturity” throughout.

“Congratulations on joining the extremely limited group of musicians who have been nominated for a Grammy. She also included a slideshow of pictures of her and Kelly posing before walking the red carpet. “You have handled this process with a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before, and I’m very proud of you,” she wrote.

“Watching you accept an honor is a measureably less fulfilling experience than watching you walk in humility and thankfulness, grow into yourself, and become a better man. Even though those will come, and I suppose this is unimportant, I will never ever get over how gorgeous your face is. I’m hoping you’ll see yourself the same way I do one day. I’ll always cherish this recollection of you since I adore you.

To Megan’s post, Kelly has not yet answered.

Laverne Cox also commended the 32-year-old for showing his vulnerable side while speaking with her on the red carpet for the E! network.

“This interview caught me off guard in the most beautiful way yesterday. To witness someone being willing to process in real time, letting go of external validation as a way of getting closer to true self love,” the TV star praised. “The realness. The rawness, the vulnerability!!!! I live for this s**t. This is courage. This willingness to grapple with and tell the truth as that truth is being discovered in real time. Absolutely!! I loved all the amazing artists I interviewed yesterday but @machinegunkelly werk it the F OUT!!!”
