Someone has finally purchased Lil Wayne’s opulent Miami property.

In September, the winner of the Global Impact Award listed the estate for $29.5M on the market. The buyer paid $28M for the house, which is situated in a posh South Florida community. Wayne undoubtedly made a few million off of the transaction, despite the fact that it was somewhat below the asking price.

Despite the fact that the agreement is still pending, Weezy is said to have accepted the offer for the house last week on February 3. However, it is almost ready for implementation. Lil Wayne is being represented in the transaction by Cyril Matz of Douglas Elliman.

Lil Wayne paid upwards of $16.5M for the opulent residence in 2018, and he wasted no time dressing it up. He added a reflecting pool and an outside cabana to the house, which already featured two kitchens, seven bedrooms, and eleven bathrooms. The house also has an elevator, a wine room, a three-car garage, and a movie theater. Additionally, it had a private dock on Allison Island, which lies off the shore of Miami Beach, as well as waterfront property.

Although the reason he unloaded the Miami property is unknown, it’s likely that he is now spending more time in California. In 2021, the rapper and other megastar neighbors, including as The Weeknd, bought a $15.4 million property in Hidden Hills. There are seven bedrooms and seven and a half baths on the modern farmhouse home. It also has features including a wet bar, an infinity pool, a home theater, and a home gym.

In addition to his real estate dealings, Lil Wayne just had a fantastic Grammys weekend. The rapper joined DJ Khaled on stage for an outstanding rendition of “God Did” with Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Fridayy. Days earlier, Drake presented him with the Global Impact Award from the Black Music Collective via video. While expressing his thanks for the honor, Lil Wayne thought back on his early years in New Orleans. He also expressed his gratitude to Toya Johnson, the mother of his kids, for letting him become a parent while he was still a teenager.

When he was 14 years old, he recalled, “I came into my mother room, she asked me for a kid, because my dad was deceased and her son had just blown up and gone on his first tour.” “Son, I can’t live in this place by myself,” mom stated when I got home. We’ll need to come up with a solution.
