According to several reports, the pop icon Madonna is being charged with child sex exploitation and human trafficking by the Ethiopian World Federation.
The EWF is described as “a civic service organization that pushes policies and advocates to change the laws that harm Black People” on the company website.
From Malawi, a southeast African nation, Madonna adopted four young children. The “Material Girl” established the non-profit Raising Malawi in 2006 with the goal of assisting orphans and vulnerable children through health and education initiatives.
According to the group, Madonna used David Banda, her adopted son from Malawi, “for sexual exploitation and social experiments.” The photos of David wearing women’s clothing, accessories, and makeup are mentioned in the petition. The EWF asserts that Madonna misrepresented David’s father’s absence when she submitted an adoption application.
