Netflix has released a trailer for its Pamela Anderson documentary.
On Tuesday, the streaming service released a trailer for the film Pamela, A Love Story. Anderson’s life and career will be explored in her own words in Pamela, A Love Story.
“For the first time, I want to take control of the narrative,” she says in the teaser. The documentary will address Anderson’s widely publicized sex tape as well as public perceptions of her.
“I had to make a living out of the scraps that remained. But I’m not the helpless damsel. I put myself in insane situations… and survived “With a laugh, she says.
Ryan White directed Pamela, A Love Story, which was co-produced by Jessica Hargrave, Julia Nottingham, Ryan White, and Anderson’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee.
The film is described as “an intimate portrait embedded in Pamela Anderson’s life as she reflects on her professional and personal journey and prepares for the next steps on her journey.”
Pamela, A Love Story premieres on Netflix on January 31.
The Hulu series Pam & Tommy recently focused on Anderson’s sex tape scandal and her relationship with her first husband, Tommy Lee.
