Local authorities claim that Jeremy Renner was “driven over” by a “very huge piece of snow removal equipment” that weighed “at least 14,330 pounds.”

During a press conference on Tuesday, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said that the actor’s PistenBully was “stuck” when he tried to “retrieve” and “get [it] rolling.”

The 51-year-old was “successful,” but when the PistenBully subsequently “began to roll,” he was off the equipment and “spoke to a family member.”

According to the sheriff, Mr. Renner tried to reenter the PistenBully’s driver’s seat in an effort to halt the vehicle from rolling. According to our analysis, Mr. Renner was run over at this moment.

According to Balaam, Renner was not thought “to be in any way intoxicated” during the “tragic accident,” and there is no indication of wrongdoing.

The Oscar candidate was reported to be in “critical but stable condition” after “experiencing a weather-related incident” in Nevada on Monday.

According to TMZ, Renner was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery.

The “Town” actor shared a hospital image on Instagram on Tuesday, showing some of his scars, which included “blunt chest trauma.”

He wrote, “Thank you everybody for your nice words. “I’m currently too messed up to type. But I send you all my love.

Members of the Marvel franchise who are not Renner expressed their support in the comments.

“Speedy recovery, my friend. I’m sending you my love! Chris Evans described his co-star as “tough as nails,” whereas Chris Hemsworth wrote the opposite.

“Continued prayers your way brutha,” Chris Pratt added.

Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is reportedly conscious, stable, and able to speak. Renner, 51, will be undergoing surgery today as part of his extensive recovery process, reports Extra. The Hawkeye actor was airlifted to hospital on Sunday morning with ‘extensive injuries’ after the snowcat he was using to plow his driveway ran him over. Renner, a two-time Oscar nominee, was alone and trying to clear a path out of his Lake Tahoe home with his PistenBully, a type of snow groomer made by the German manufacturer Kassbohrer. The vehicle’s safety features failed, and caused it to roll over Renner’s leg, around a quarter mile from the property TMZ reported. Since moving into his isolated estate outside of Reno nearly ten years ago, Renner has said that his residence “isn’t a horse ranch [but]… more of a horsepower ranch” in an interview with Men’s Health in November 2021.

Daughter Ava, 9, is in the custody of the Golden Globe nominee and her ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.
