André 3000 is now known as André Benjamin since he is completely encased in his acting bag.

Rapper “Prototype” will appear in Kelly Reichardt’s upcoming comedy, “Showing Up,” which will be distributed by A24. Michelle Williams, Hong Chau, John Magaro, and Judd Hirsch will also appear. For the soundtrack to Everything Everywhere All At Once, Benjamin and A24 first collaborated.

The new movie is “a colorful and sharply hilarious picture of an artist on the cusp of a career-changing show,” according to Deadline. The turbulence of life serves as the inspiration for great art as [Reichardt] negotiates her relationships with her family, friends, and coworkers in the run-up to her performance.

The movie’s theatrical release date has not yet been announced by A24, however it is “coming soon.”

The founding member of Outkast will also make an appearance in the upcoming White Noise Netflix movie. Don Cheadle, Jodie Turner-Smith, Adam Driver, and Greta Gerwig all appear in the movie. According to Netflix, White Noise “dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.” White Noise is primarily described as “at once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic.” On December 30, it will make its streaming premiere.

Benjamin said on the Broken Record podcast that his lack of focus was the reason he “retired” from music back in 2019. I don’t feel confident. I play around a lot. I haven’t been inspired to work on a serious project, so I’ll just walk to a piano, put my iPhone down, and just capture what happens as my fingers move.
