The next Joker sequel, Folie à Deux, offers the first glimpse at Joaquin Phoenix thanks to Todd Phillips.
The director shared a snapshot of the actor playing Arthur Fleck getting a haircut by someone who appeared to be in a position of power while simultaneously announcing on Instagram that filming on the much-awaited movie has begun. “Day 1. The caption was “Our boy. #joker,” according to Phillips.
The musical Folie à Deux will depict Fleck’s stay at Arkham Asylum. Lady Gaga, who will reportedly play Harley Quinn, and Brendan Gleeson, best known for his role as Mad-Eye Moody in the Harry Potter movie adaptations, will also appear alongside Phoenix. However, as of this writing, the remaining narrative facts are unknown.
