Of course, there has been a lot of criticism of American negotiating strategies online. Many believe that by allowing Bout to return to Russia, the U.S. has shown weakness. John Bolton, a former senior official in the Trump administration, is one example.

With this, Griner’s life has come to an end after a particularly dismal period. Jessica family, the government, and the WNBA have all been working to get her back home for months. She will now get to see her wife Cherelle once more.
