Since its streaming debut on September 21, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story has officially surpassed 1 billion hours of viewing, according to Netflix.
The first installment of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s anthology series is a fact-based drama on the famed titular serial murderer, who admitted to killing 17 young men and boys between 1978 and 1991.
Netflix has already commissioned two additional seasons of the Monster series, which follows other horrific people.
When Dahmer was 34 years old, he was murdered in prison by another prisoner.
Evan Peters, who has collaborated with Murphy on his American Horror Story anthology, portrays him in Monster.
Richard Jenkins, Molly Ringwald, Michael Learned, and Niecy Nash all co-starred in Dahmer.
