After being crowned the most streamed global artist on Spotify for the third straight year—making him the first artist to accomplish that feat—Bad Bunny’s status as a global sensation was further confirmed.

Un Verano Sin Ti, the 28-year-fourth old’s solo studio album, which amassed more than 18.5 billion streams on the site, was instrumental in helping him keep that title. Taylor Swift came in at No. 2, Drake at No. 3, The Weeknd at No. 4, and BTS at No. 5 to complete the Top 5 global artists lists.

The Puerto Rican superstar also claimed several positions on the list of the Most-Streamed Global Songs, where “Me Porto Bonito” and “T## Me Preguntó” respectively came in fourth and fifth. For Spotify’s Most Viral Artist nomination, he came in last place, after only The Weekend and Taylor Swift.

Ocasio’s global domination was undeniable, but Drake grabbed the top spot among Spotify’s most-streamed artists in the United States, with Bad Bunny coming in third behind Taylor Swift, who came in second.

The most streamed song on American Spotify was Harry Styles’ “As It Was.” Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves,” Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit,” Bad Bunny’s “Me Porto Bonito” with Chencho Corleone, and Jack Harlow’s “First Class” also made the top five.

Un Verano Sin Ti, which was released earlier this year and spent 13 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 list, has now become the first album in Spanish to be nominated for an Album Of The Year Grammy. In recognition of his “artistic excellence and effect on worldwide culture in 2022,” BadBunny was earlier selected Apple Music’s Artist of the Year this month.
