Early next year, a big immersive experience honoring Bob Marley will make its U.S. debut. It will include photos, a ton of music, and even a pair of the reggae legend’s shoes.

Following stints in London and Toronto, the multi-room exhibition “Bob Marley: One Love Experience” will debut in Los Angeles on January 27 at Ovation Hollywood. The 15,000 square foot (1,393 square meter) exhibition features never-before-seen images, live footage, lyric sheets, and rare items including guitars, a soccer shirt, sneakers, and artwork that emphasizes Marley’s influence.

A Marley-branded jukebox and a few foosball tables are also present. The legacy and philanthropy of the Marley family are honored in one section.

A 2,000 square foot (185 square meter) One Love Forest inside the building promises to transport guests to Jamaica in a multi-sensory setting that also includes a cannabis garden. At the Soul Shakedown studio, guests are welcomed with headphones so they may jam out to the carefully prepared playlist in the silent disco. On December 7, tickets are only accessible via Fever.

Marley, who was born in rural Jamaica in 1945, became a global superstar in the 1970s with classics including “No Woman, No Cry,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” and “I Shot the Sheriff.” Marley was raised in the Kingston ghetto of Trench Town. He became a national hero in Jamaica and other nations thanks to his social justice and African unification-promoting lyrics. At age 36, he passed away from cancer in 1981.

As the CEO of the Bob Marley Group, Cedella Marley stated in a statement, “After being in London and Toronto, it’s going to be great bringing the experience here to the U.S. for the first time and just steps from Daddy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” The Marley Family and Terrapin Station Entertainment are the producers of the exhibit.

These days, immersive experiences are all the rage, with touring, projection-driven shows depicting, to mention a few, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and King Tut.
