Deshaun Watson Accusers Will Attend Quarterback's Return Game After 11-Game Suspension

Deshaun Watson will make his field debut against the Houston Texans this coming Sunday after serving an 11-game suspension for sexual misbehavior.

About ten of the women who accused Watson of sexual assault and harassment during the massages are scheduled to attend his first game after his suspension, according to a recent ESPN article. Watson has reached settlements with more than two dozen victims.

According to ESPN, Tony Buzbee, the lawyer who represented Watson’s accusers, said that roughly ten of his clients want to attend the game to make a statement. A few of my clients requested to leave. They felt it was crucial to convey their relevance and continued existence, according to Buzbee.

Some of the ladies are attending the game, according to Buzbee, “to kind of make the message, ‘Hey, we’re still here. We count. Our message was heard, and this is not yet finished. In the United States, [sexual harassment and assault] occur every day,'” Buzbee added on Tuesday.
