The return of the Dreamville Festival has been announced by J. Cole and Dreamville. The celebration of music and culture will take place at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 1st and 2nd, 2023.
“The Dreamville Festival wants to continue growing and building on the success of last year’s expanded two-day event.” “Our team is looking forward to reuniting with our Dreamville family from all over the world next spring,” Dreamville Festival President Adam Roy said.
“Everyone is welcome, including JID fans, Ari [Lennox] fans, and music fans.” Take this as your personal invitation. You won’t want to miss Dreamville 2023 if you come through.”
After a three-year hiatus, the Dreamville Festival returned in 2022. Since its inception in 2018, the event has grown to become the largest music festival in North Carolina. The festival brought in over $6.7 million in direct economic impact to Raleigh and Wake County this spring, including hotels and other local businesses.
“The increase in economic impact and attendance over this year’s two-day festival is encouraging to see after the pandemic prevented the previously sold-out event from taking place in the previous two years,” said Dennis Edwards, President and CEO of Visit Raleigh.
“The successful turnout for Dreamville Festival confirms that events and travel are returning to our area, and the demand remains high.”
Although a roster has not yet been made public, the namesake label is home to some of the best rappers and R&B singers. The crew is completed by Earthgang, Omen, Bas, Cozz, and Lute in addition to the aforementioned JID, Ari Lennox, and of course J. Cole.
Lil Baby, Mereba, Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo, Blxst, BIA, Jeezy, and other artists have performed in the past.
