Tom Brady went out with his kids shortly after finalizing his divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, 45, was seen taking daughter Vivian Lake, 9, and son Benjamin Rein, 12, to the movies Friday night in Hyde Park, Florida.
Brady wore a dark sweatshirt, white pants, and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers hat while carrying a camouflage duffel bag for the outing. Ben wore shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals, while his sister wore an oversized hoodie, leggings, and flip-flops.
Following Friday’s news that the couple was divorcing, which was quickly finalized later that day, Brady spent the weekend in Tampa with his and Bündchen’s children as he practiced with the Buccaneers.
“When he’s with his kids, he’s always happy,” the source added. “The kids have gradually gotten used to spending time apart from Tom and Gisele. They lived apart for several months.”
After the couple finalized their quick divorce on Friday, a source said they “agreed to joint custody of the kids,” with Brady staying in Tampa and Bündchen moving to Miami, where her ex-husband also lives.
Brady, who has a 15-year-old son named John “Jack” Edward with ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, had all three of his children in attendance for the Buccaneers’ home opener last month. While his children were present, Bündchen was conspicuously absent.
“He loves football,” a source previously stated in September. “Something has to give, and his family has always been that something. They must be very patient with him.”
In an interview with Elle this summer, Bündchen expressed “concerns” about Brady continuing to play, particularly when it comes to their children.
“Obviously, I have concerns because this is a very violent sport, and I have children, and I would like him to be more present,” the Brazilian model explained. “I’ve definitely had those conversations with him numerous times.”
“But, in the end, I believe that everyone must make a decision that is best for [them]. He, too, must follow his joy.”
