The legendary 2022 run of NBA Youngboy is still going strong.

Ma, I Got A Family, the Baton Rouge native’s fourth solo album of the year, was made available to fans on Friday. After signing a reputed $60M deal with Atlantic, the series of albums and mixtapes started to appear. Given the abundance of songs he released in a little period of time, it was obvious that the attempt was successful for all sides.

His business with Atlantic Records, however, appears to be coming to an end soon since he is said to have signed a new contract with Motown Records. The new agreement is anticipated to go into effect in 2023, according to Billboard.

Given that YB and Motown are already working together, the decision isn’t altogether unexpected. He signed a global partnership agreement with Motown in 2021 to produce Never Broke Again: The Compilation Volume 1 (2021) and Green Flag Activity (2022). This Friday will see the release of another group collection called Nightmare on 38th Street. With his new contract, NBA Youngboy seems poised to maintain this momentum well into 2023.

In addition to the flurry of projects he has abandoned, during the past few months, his manager has made it known that a tour is in the works. YB has been unable to travel because to legal issues, but he and his crew are definitely looking forward to the day he is released from house imprisonment. Hopefully, that fits with his goals for 2023.

Keep checking back for additional details on NBA Youngboy’s new contract and keep an eye out for the release of Nightmare on 38th Street this Friday.
