Megan Thee Stallion’s home in Los Angeles was reportedly broken into on Thursday night (October 13).
Two thieves broke into the rapper’s home while she was in New York for Saturday Night Live, according to TMZ. The men are accused of stealing cash, electronics, and jewelry.
According to law enforcement sources, the burglars stole items worth $300,000 to $400,000 from Megan Thee Stallion’s home. There have been no arrests.
Police are looking into home surveillance footage from the incident. They are also looking for any additional video or evidence from nearby residents.
On October 15, Megan Thee Stallion will host Saturday Night Live for the first time in her career. She will also perform as a musical guest on the episode.
In 2019, the 300 Entertainment artist made her SNL debut. Chance the Rapper invited her to perform their song “Handsome” on the show. She returned to the SNL stage in 2020, this time as the musical guest.
Megan Thee Stallion will be touring in support of her latest album, Traumazine, which was released in August. The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200.
Heidi Gardner, an SNL cast member, appeared alongside “Hot Girl Meg” in a teaser for the upcoming episode.
