Drake announces a new date for OVO Fest with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj after testing negative for COVID.

After OVO Fest began last weekend, things got off to a tremendous start. Drake made an appearance on stage at the All Canadian North Stars concert honoring the pioneers of hip-hop who paved the path for him and other performers. Sadly, it appears that his excessive partying caught up to him. He revealed on Monday that the Young Money Reunion show at OVO Fest had been postponed because to his positive COVID-19 test.

“The Young Money reunion event that was scheduled for tonight has been postponed until the SOONEST date possible, and I am genuinely devastated to have tested positive for COVID. When we lock on the new date, I’ll inform the city and let them know “said he. “Until then, I hope everyone stays healthy and safe, and I love you all. I’m sorry for disappointing you over our weekend together, and the instant I test negative, I’ll give you all I’ve got on stage (apart from the COVID).”

Thankfully, the Boy tested negative just a few days later, suggesting that the inoculation was successful. He made the announcement on Instagram today, saying that Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne will be joining him for the Young Money reunion at OVO Fest this weekend.

“Negative test…positive result

Because the family is so strong, everyone is traveling back in to make it happen for you all since this is the only date available until the fall.

ARRIVE SATURDAY…
