At Rolling Loud Miami, Kendrick Lamar and Kodak Black share the stage.

A number of special guests performed at the weekend’s Rolling Loud event, which was another triumph. Although Kid Cudi’s abrupt exit from the stage and Kanye West’s subsequent, unexpected presence during Lil Durk’s concert made the opening night chaotic. The rest of the weekend was less dramatic but nonetheless full of surprises, like Travis Scott’s appearance during Future’s performance on Saturday night.

The weekend was brought to a close by Kendrick Lamar, who delivered a strong performance of songs off his most recent album, Mr Morale & The Big Steppers, including the Kodak Black-assisted song, “Silent Hill.” During K. Dot’s performance, Yak emerged on stage to hold down his verse and play it live to enthusiastic ovation from the RL audience.

“Make some noise for my mothafucking n***a, Kodak mothafucking Black,” Kendrick told the crowd.

Following his arrest for drug trafficking, Yak was put under house arrest for a short period of time before performing. Fortunately, he managed to get on stage, but his ankle monitor was visible to the audience.

Together with Baby Keem and Tanna Leone, Kendrick Lamar is now out touring in support of The Big Steppers album. Last week, the show premiered in Oklahoma City before moving on to Austin, Houston, and Dallas, Texas. He will continue his tour this week with stops in Tampa, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Nashville.
