In order to live a better life, Honey Boo Boo will undergo surgery.

The reality star, born Alana Thompson, will go to New York City in August after turning 17 to have weight-loss surgery, her manager confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.

Weight loss specialist Steven Batash will give the former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star a suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve, which may cost up to $13,000.

Thompson reportedly weighs 275 pounds and wants to get down to 150 after trying different diets without the desired results. The TLC actress thinks surgery is the only way to achieve her goals since she worries that her weight is inherited.

The star of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” will have surgery alongside her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, who is also trying to lose weight.

Since the middle of 2021, Thompson and Carswell, both 20, have been dating, but they didn’t make their union Instagram official until the end of September.

Thompson painfully revealed that she only has her boyfriend as a friend in an August feature for Teen Vogue.

“I don’t have many pals, to be completely honest. I feel like people are so often saying, “Oh, my God, I’m friends with Honey Boo Boo,” she acknowledged at the time.

The TLC artist said, “I don’t have friends because I genuinely don’t trust anybody.”

Carswell and Thompson’s age difference first drew criticism, although they live in Georgia, where the legal age of consent is 16.

Mama June Shannon, Thompson’s mother, revealed in May 2022 that her daughter and Carswell face a lot of discrimination because of their inter-racial relationship.

The “Mama June: Road to Redemption” actor said of her daughter’s relationship: “She is getting a lot of hate because she’s in an interracial relationship, and he is older.” After all, Alana isn’t the 6- or 7-year-old girl you fell in love with 11 years ago.
