An upgrade of two regional offices has been announced by GDC, a provider of digital cinema solutions, in response to rising demand from the European and Korean film industries.

The growth will occur in the fourth year of GDC Korea’s existence and the tenth year of GDC Europe. In order to enhance customer support in areas like installation, maintenance, and returns, this upgrade incorporates extra sales and operation centers for both sites.

Jason Kim, general manager of the GDC office based in Seoul, said that the move “further validates our great products, people, and potential” and “ensures GDC is best positioned to deliver the highest quality services to our customers in Korea and North Asia, which include major exhibitors and resellers.”

“We’re especially happy to be able to relocate to a new structure with a lot more space. The executive director of GDC Digital Cinema Technology in Europe, Sachin Shetty, said that more than anything, this move “represents our continued ironclad commitment to serving our resellers and exhibition partners and helping them foster business growth through our wide range of digital cinema solutions.”
