More information about the death of “Toddlers & Tiaras” star Kailia Posey has surfaced.

The cause of death was suffocation due to ligature hanging, and the method was suicide, according to the Whatcom County medical examiner in Washington.

The toxicology and autopsy findings will not be made public.

The facts of the police record are being concealed because disclosure would be “extremely objectionable” and “not of legitimate concern to the public, and hence would violate the right to privacy,” according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

Posey’s family announced in a devastating statement that their daughter committed suicide on May 2nd.

“Despite being an accomplished adolescent with a promising future ahead of her, she made the hasty decision to end her earthly existence in one impetuous moment,” the family claimed.

Marcy Posey Gatterman, Posey’s mother, first broke the news of her son’s death on Facebook.

“I’m at a loss for words and ideas.” “A lovely baby girl has passed away,” she wrote. “Please respect our privacy as we grieve Kailia’s passing. Forever, my baby.”

Posey had been “struggling” before her suicide, according to a friend of the TLC singer.

“We knew she was struggling with a few things, and we all did everything we could to encourage her and help,” revealed the pal. “We didn’t know what was going on.”

The source praised Posey as a “role model” and a “big name in a lot of different places.”
