Travis Scott will headline his first music festival since Astroworld later this year at Primavera Sound.

Travis Scott will headline his first music festival since the Astroworld disaster later this year, for three Primavera Sound South American editions. The events will take place in Santiago, Chile, from November 7 to 13, in Buenos Aires, from November 7 to 13, and in So Paulo, Brazil, from October 31 to November 6.

Pixies, Jack White, Beach House, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Björk, Charli XCX, Father John Misty, Mitski, Arca, Interpol, Phoebe Bridgers, Cat Power, CHAI, Japanese Breakfast, JPEGMAFIA, Caroline Polachek, Jessie Ware, José González, Boy Harsher, Helado Negro, Viagra Boys, and others will also perform.

Primavera Sound will be performing in South America for the first time in 2022.

In addition to Primavera Sound, it’s reported that Scott is expected to perform at three U.S. festivals in the near future.

While Scott has yet to headline any festivals since his return, he did perform five songs for a private audience at a Coachella afterparty earlier this month. In addition, he collaborated with Southside and Future on the new single “Hold That Heat.”

Scott has hinted at releasing new music in addition to appearing on Future’s track. He rented out several billboards earlier this month, hinting at his long-awaited album, Utopia.

In November, the 2021 Astroworld Festival was held. The rest of the event was canceled after a fatal crowd crush occurred on the first night, killing ten concertgoers. Scott subsequently backed out of several scheduled performances, and several sponsorship deals were postponed.
