Nearly ten years after performing one of the most cinematic performances at one of the most influential electronic music events in history, Hardwell is back on stage at the Ultra Music Festival to make history with the most anticipated comeback in 2022.

In the fall of 2018, after more than a decade of performing at the biggest festivals on the planet, Hardwell announced he was taking a break from touring. So his strong comeback on Sunday night, his first official performance since performing with the Metropole Orkest Symphony at Ziggo Dome in October 2018, should come as no surprise. Performing a ‘setup surprise’ on the main stage (though most would probably assume it was him), the weekend’s carnival ended with the crowd of 150,000 enthusiastically welcoming Hardwell’s return. While online, his performance also beat Ultra’s numbers via live stream, with fans around the world eager to watch Hardwell’s first official live in 3.5 years.

Revealing new shows and new sounds, as well as announcing a 24-day world tour in support of his new artist album, Rebels Never Die, Hardwell used his title at Ultra at the end. this week to mark a new era in his career. This momentous occasion in Ultra was not only Hardwell’s debut performance but also an opportunity for him to capture the attention of fans around the world. Always a leader, with a mission to evolve, not to repeat. Hardwell’s new 14-song solo album, released on his Revealed Recordings label, represents a pivotal point in the musical transformation of one of electronic music’s most celebrated stars. The all-new Rebels Never Die World Tour is a large-scale production concept that will provide fans with a unique, multi-dimensional experience for watching Hardwell perform live on stage. Throughout 2022, the Rebels Never Die album tour will see Hardwell hit the road with 24 pre-booked dates on the biggest stages in Europe, Asia, North and South America.
