According to reports, Sam Smith and Kim Petras will perform at the BRIT Awards 2023 in support of Mastercard.
The pop diva is reportedly planning an epic set and has invited their ‘Unholy’ duet partner to play the mega-hit with them on February 11 at The O2 in London.
“It has been a hard few years for Sam, but a big performance at the BRITs cements a remarkable transformation and ushers in a new age of success,” a source told The Sun’s Bizarre column.
“They want to offer incredibly amazing staging to dazzle spectators thus preparation is well underway.
“Sam’s new album ‘Gloria’ is being released at the end of this month so there will be new music which could be weaved into the performance.
“However, Sam is bringing their pal Kim, so ‘Unholy’ will undoubtedly be performed.”
Sam’s forthcoming album, ‘Gloria,’ will include Ed Sheeran, Jessie Reyez, and Koffee.
Nominations for the glitzy music event will be unveiled on Thursday at 4 p.m. (12.01.23).
The BRITs gig comes after Kim hinted that the pair are working on a follow-up to ‘Unholy’.
Sam and Kim swept the charts with the record-breaking song earlier this year, and they intend to continue working together.
“I absolutely am talking to Sam right now about having a song on my upcoming album,” the 30-year-old star stated.
“I would really love to keep collaborating because it’s so unusual that you discover artists that you’re on the same page with, who you write well with and who you want to be in the studio with.
“I honestly feel like we were supposed to meet and we simply have such a connection – like lost sisters from a prior life. The song has been such a blessing, bringing me so much joy.
“I hear it at McDonald’s and in every Uber I take; it’s insane.”
With ‘Unholy,’ they became the first non-binary and transgender acts to top the Billboard 100.
